Simala Church in Sibonga, Cebu –
This is probably one of the most breathtaking views of the church. It has to be the biggest church I’ve seen in my life.
Marian Monks from Pampanga built this Church in 1998 due to Mama Mary’s shedding tears and several other miracles. The church became so popular due to the miracles that believers congregate Because of the said miracles, Simala Shrine became so popular that devotees and believers flock the shrine, hoping and believing that their prayer requests would be granted. The shrine’s castle-like and picturesque structure makes it even more popular, drawing local and foreign tourists, alike.
Take note that proper attire is required to enter. Shorts, sleeveless shirts and blouses are not allowed. You will also be required to leave your footwear at the entrance if you plan to go up to the altar.
